I told you last week I was slightly giddy about attending the Milwaukee Art Museum’s next Art After Dark event: RunUp to the Runway. Well I definitely was. This is as close as I’ll even be to New York Fashion Week. (Forewarning – This is going to be a lot of pictures.)
This was the description from the brochure:
“Be seen where cutting-edge fashions in celebration of Milwaukee’s fashion and design scene take center stage—and avoid making this season’s fashion faux pas. Discover the hottest trends from local designers, up-and-coming Mount Mary College fashion students—and even Ra’Mon Lawrence of Project Runway, who will present his 2012 spring/summer collection (straight from New York Fashion Week). Music by Jai Cherney and from 88Nine Radio Milwaukee, hors d’oeuvres by Café Calatrava, the Impressionism: Masterworks on Paper exhibition, and more round out the night.”
Milwaukee Art Museum just posted the pictures from the After Dark: RunUp to the Runway this week on their Flickr account! Here’s the only of ours that got posted. I know we had a lot more taken!
