This is the view of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles from the Exposition Park Rose Garden:
The NHM is the largest natural and historical museum in the western United States. It houses an extensive collection of exhibits related to natural history, including dinosaur fossils, minerals, gems, mammals, birds, insects, and Native American artifacts. The museum also features a Discovery Center for children, interactive displays, and rotating special exhibitions. It is a popular destination for both educational visits and leisurely exploration.
Situated adjacent to the Natural History Museum, the Exposition Park Rose Garden is a beautiful and tranquil outdoor space. It spans around seven acres and is home to over 15,000 rose bushes, representing hundreds of different rose varieties.
The garden provides a serene setting for leisurely walks, picnics, and photography. It is particularly stunning during the peak rose blooming season, typically from late spring to early summer.
Have you visited the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles and Exposition Park Rose Garden?
Exposition Park, where these attractions are located, is a large urban park in the heart of Los Angeles, California. In addition to the NHM and Rose Garden, the park also houses other significant cultural institutions, including the California Science Center, the California African American Museum, and the Exposition Park Rose Garden Amphitheater.
