Hey! I’m Katie

I started this blog in 2009 as a way to document a study abroad trip to South Korea. My love of travel is what kept me writing.

Like this blog, my life has gone through many changes throughout the years through the scary unknowns after college, to marrying my best friend, Zack, then moving across the country from Wisconsin to Texas.

Zack and I have been in the Dallas Fort Worth area since 2016. We often take our dogs, Hank and Enzo, on weekend getaways – whether it’s just a walk in a Texas State Park or a weekend trip to explore a new town.

Since we both work full time, we have limited vacation days to use for travel. When I plan a trip, I try to make the most out of the itinerary so we can see and do the most. (Honestly some of our trips are exhausting, haha)

I’ll be sharing our personal travel itineraries, along with valuable tips and recommendations, to help you make the most out of your trips.
