Nude pumps are trendy and timeless. Nude is a polished neutral that is more approachable than black and more sophisticated than white. Nude pumps can make any outfit more elegant!

I am working towards discovering my style and the confidence to wear my clothes. In this series, Capsule Collection Essentials, I will be sharing a variety of different items that are what I consider essential to building my wardrobe.

This is Edit 01. Nude Pumps. Nude pumps are a power piece to a closet. Since nude pumps are neutral they go with anything and everything. Everyone should have a nice pair of nude pumps in their closets. Nude pumps are a nice alternative to have as an alternative to black heels.

In my search for nude pumps, I wanted to find a pair that I can wear every day. The pair should be versatile to wear to work (I’ve been working from home since 2020, haha), but also pair smart with a date night look.

It can be very difficult to find a heel that is comfortable AND easy to walk in. The height of the heel and the shape of the shoe can make it challenging to find the right pair for you. My biggest hurdle was finding a pair to wear for a long period of time without getting blisters or pinched toes.

I picked out six different brands of nude pumps to try on and reviewed each pair. Scroll all the way to the bottom to see what pair I added to my capsule collection!

Six Nude Pumps

Marc Fisher LTD Sassie Pointed Toe Nude Pump

1. Marc Fisher LTD Sassie Pointed Toe Pump – $150

The Sassie Pointed Toe Pump are tall, tapered heels and pointy toe balance a strikingly sleek pump with a smooth leather upper and cushy insole. Per the picture the heel design is really stable. The surface area when walking on a hard surface is much easier to walk in because there is more support on the heel.

The reviews I read said that they ran big, but I ordered my normal 8 size. They were true to size. It was a little tight sliding in, but not tight when wearing them. They are a beautiful shoe!

Stuart Weitzman Linsi 75 Nude Pump

2. Stuart Weitzman Linsi 75 Pump – $395

These pumps were such a disappointment because the edges were so low that my feet didn’t feel like they were going to stay in. The leather felt cheap and they were really tight when walking. I ordered an 8, but I would probably need to size up to have a more comfortable fit.

COACH Waverly Pointed Toe Nude Pump

3. Coach Waverly Pointed Toe Pump – $195

The Coach nude pump epitomizes sophistication. The classic silhouette is updated with a sleek ball-chain trim. The leather was so soft and my feet slid right in! They are true to size, well-made and stunning.

They are the very comfortable nude pumps and the ball-chain trim is a beautiful design. They are simple yet have a modern touch. I wore them all night to dinner and they are really comfortable. They aren’t too high for work but can also be worn going out. I highly recommend buying these beauties.

Rebecca Allen The New Nude Pump

4. Rebecca Allen The New Pump – $165

These nude pumps were made of glossy leather. They have a slim heel and a cushioned footbed that delivers daylong comfort. I ordered an 8, but they were too tight for me. I could barely get my foot into the shoe and the material was really stiff. I returned them.

Calvin Klein Callia Nude Pump

5. Calvin Klein Callia Pump – $99.95

A willowy stiletto heel elevates this snip-toe pump that offers a poised complement to your professional look.

Sam Edelman Hazel Pointed Toe Nude Pump

6. Sam Edelman Hazel Pointed Toe Pump – $97.96

A classic stiletto adds leg-lengthening lift and timeless appeal to an elegant pointy-toe pump. The heel was slightly too high for me because I couldn’t walk in my natural gait. I ordered an 8 and they fit true to size. I returned these. They are gorgeous, but not for me.

And one for fun!

Kurt Geiger London Duke Crystal Strap Pointed Toe Nude Mule

7. Kurt Geiger London Duke Crystal Strap Pointed Toe Mule – $178

These shoes are gorgeous! A strap glinting with crystals adds event-ready glamour to a mule with a pointy toe, curvy top-line and slim stiletto heel. The heels aren’t super high, so they are really comfortable to walk in. The band fits very well across my foot and they are easy to walk in. They are really glamorous, stunning and classy nude heel option. This is my first time buying this brand and I will definitely shop again!

The Nude Pump I Picked

I added the Coach nude pumps to my closet! The Sam Edelman pair fit better than the Marc Fisher pair, but when I tried on the Coach pumps my feet slid right in. It was love at first try on. And I also am keeping the Kurt Geiger bonus shoe. It fit so beautifully and I love the crystal strap. I can’t wait to take them out on the town!
