Fall Capsule Wardrobe: A Note About Each Piece
Belted Mini Dress
This belted mini dress has a v-neck and cap sleeves. It cinches at the waist with a dual buckle belt closure (appears on both sides of the waist). The dress comes in maverick tan or camo green. I love that it has pockets on the seam. Dresses are way more fun with pockets! I have the green one in this picture, but I ordered the tan. If sold out, find similar here. Casual Jeans
I purchased these jeans earlier this year from American Eagle. They are the AE Forever Soft Patched High-Waisted Jegging Crop. They are super soft. I love that they are cropped because I am short (5’2″) and sometimes the regular length jeans are just a little too long! If sold out, find similar here.
Black Jeans
This pair of black girlfriend style jeans have a button closure and zip fly. They are a relaxed, slouchy style with the perfect lived-in feel. They come in the size range from 24 to 35. If sold out, find similar here.
Black Fitted Top
I chose this black tailored button-down top because you don’t have to iron it. It is long-sleeved and has buttoned cuffs. The spread collar gives this piece an elevated look. It would pair great with either the black jeans or the casual jeans. It’s available in three colors. I ordered the black, but would love it in the navy or the white options. Short Sleeve Top
The button-down utility shirt has a point collar and short sleeves with tabs. The back has an inverted box pleat and shirttail hem. The shirt is available in four different colors. The shirt pictured above is the light khaki, but I ordered it in the parchment paper option. I ordered a medium and a large, but it runs big. The material is heavy and nice quality. Blazer
I wanted to add in a blazer instead of a coat for fall because Texas is hot, y’all. This blazer features long sleeves with functional button cuffs. It has a single button closure and has two functional flap welt pockets. It is fully lined. This blazer is a very classic piece and great to have at any stage of life. If sold out, find similar here.
Loose Top
The satin classic shirt is engineered with the perfect amount of stretch for maximum comfort and ease. It is made out of polyester and spandex. It has adjustable cuffs, spread collar and a shirttail hem. I chose this top because it is not fitted like the other option, but still can look chic and classic in your outfits. Cardigan
I like the style of this cardigan, but I do not enjoy the light toffee color. I ordered it in the preppy navy color. I like the v-neck and the drop shoulders. It is casual enough to wear over top, but also elevated enough to be worn buttoned-up as a top itself. It’s available in nine different color options. If sold out, find similar here.
Tote Bag
Perfect for holding your personal items, such as your iPad, cellphone, summer reading book, water bottle and so on. It is pebbled leather material on the outside with an open top. I picked these Marc Fisher Urmi pointed toe booties because of their edgy classic look. They come in five different colors, but I like the black option obviously. Luxe leather and a notched topline bring modern elements to a sleek pointed-toe bootie lifted by a wrapped block heel. A nice pair of booties will dress up these wardrobe picks. Add a stylish look to your wardrobe with this modern take on the d’Orsay sandal. Featuring a sleek silhouette, genuine leather construction, and statement pointed toe. Timeless and comfortable, the flats are something that you would love to wear everyday. All the d’Orsay flats I’ve ever tried on never fit my feet, but the front of these are higher on the foot.
