My Red, White and Blue Fourth of July Outfit

Happy Fourth of July!

I wanted to share a cute outfit I put together that is very patriotic-y! We took the opportunity of a long weekend to drive sixteen hours to Wisconsin to see our families. It’s a jam-packed weekend full of friends, families and activities – we even brought Colt with! The only “resting” we’ll get is the time spent in the truck.

We rented a truck from Enterprise to make the trek. The truck ended up being cheaper than renting an SUV! Colt got the entire back of the cab and it gave us enough room to not feel cramped during the drive. We plan these trips by getting up around 1:30-2 in the morning, then only making stops when needed. We can usually get to my parent’s house by 6 p.m. – just in time for dinner and a shower. We’ve done it a couple times so far, but don’t want to put the miles on our own vehicles.
