Are you looking to lose weight through walking?
iFit has an entire library of walking workouts. I’ve been a huge fan of Chris and Stacie’s programs this year – I’ve done almost all of them. I highly recommend them. If you’re looking for a beautiful area, then the Everest program takes you to some of the most beautiful mountainous areas.
The Everest program was my first time using my iFit device and getting used to how it can change my speed and incline for me on the treadmill. And the Clark’s helped me meet my weight loss goal earlier this year.
iFit Walking for Weight Loss
1. Everest: A Trek to Base Camp
Join iFIT Guides Kenton Cool, Lydia Bradey, and Ang Tshering Lama in this amazing 18-part series that will take you all the way up 17,500+ feet to the famous Everest Base Camp. Each of these guides has a unique perspective and relationship with this amazing mountain and you’ll get an exclusive, inside look into their expert knowledge. As you climb, trek, and make your way up, you’ll work through a variety of steady speed, train to terrain, and recovery workouts while you learn about the rich history and culture of this mountain, those who have climbed it, and the Sherpa communities who live on it. Get ready to take in some truly breathtaking views, go on an adventure of a lifetime, and trek to base camp!
This one had a lot of inclines, but the workouts were a good length between 20-40 minutes. The distance was all under 1.4 miles.
2. Turks and Caicos Weight Loss Walking Series
As you progress through this 20-part walking series, you’ll be in awe of the white, sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. Chris and Stacie will show you around the Turks and Caicos Islands and Aruba, including the remote Iguana Island.
You’ll explore iconic locations, such as the world’s third largest barrier reef and the historic La Familia grounded shipwreck. Check out Trinity Bridge, Split Rock, and other stunning destinations as you walk on sandy beaches and stroll down paths lined with lush palm trees and mangroves. Distance for each workout is 1.6 or less.
3. St. Lucia Weight Loss Walking Series
The St. Lucia Weight Loss Walking Series with iFIT Trainers Chris and Stacie Clark will lead you through 24-part beginner workouts. You’ll alternate between endurance, steady-state hikes, bodyweight cross-training, and recovery stretching. Improve your fitness while exploring iconic white beaches, gorgeous waterfalls, and the volcanic Piton mountains on this stunning, Caribbean island. The average duration for the workouts is 23 minutes.
4. Italy Weight Loss Walking Series
The Italy Weight Loss Walking Series with iFIT Trainers Chris and Stacie Clark follows the Turks and Caicos Weight Loss Walking Series. Stacie and Chris will lead you through an 18-part walking workouts all roughly 30 minutes in length, ranging from interval work to endurance walks, speed plays, and more.
As you sweat, you’ll also take in some spectacular cities here in Italy. From the ancient city of Portofino to the quaint fishing villages of Cinque Terre on the rugged Italian Riviera coast, the amazing architecture and renaissance artwork in Florence, and so much more, this series will push you to work hard while taking in the amazing Italian culture.
