Blackberry Whiskey Lemonade

This Blackberry Whiskey Lemonade is the perfect summer cocktail. It is easy to make and packs the right amount of punch perfect for an evening on the patio.

Summer has been the big ol’ b-word so far here in Texas. It’s been over one hundred degrees for way too many days and it is NOT enjoyable to sit in the heat. It’s not even worth it to try to walk the dog at all. Zack has hardly been grilling, too, which is what makes summers so much fun! What are you doing this summer to keep cool?

In an effort to cool down, we started making this refreshing Blackberry Whiskey Lemonade recipe. It is full of delicious blackberry syrup which isn’t over-powered by the tartness of the lemonade. It is truly refreshing in all this heat.

Blackberry Whiskey Lemonade

What You Need To Make A Blackberry Whiskey Lemonade:

12 oz. fresh blackberries
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 cup whiskey
1 cup lemon juice
3/4 cup blackberry simple syrup
1 cup tonic water

This cocktail is seriously one of the most refreshing recipes I’ve ever had. I love how all the flavors mix together. I swear I could drink these babies all day long – and I have done it!

Blackberry Whiskey Lemonade

  • 12 oz blackberries
  • 2 shots whiskey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup blackberry simple syrup
  • 1 cup tonic water
  1. Mix simple syrup and lemon juice in a tumbler.

  2. Add the blackberries and muddle.

  3. Add in the whiskey with 2 ice cubes; shake.

  4. Pour into glass, then add in the tonic water. Add ice cubes if needed. Garnish with a a blackberry.
