Are there dinosaurs at the lagoon in Texas State?
If you’ve been a reader of my website, then you’ll remember my visit to the Dinosaur Valley State Park in Glen Rose, Texas.
This park is famous for its well-preserved dinosaur footprints, which date back over 113 million years. These tracks were left by two types of dinosaurs: the sauropod, a large, long-necked herbivore, and the theropod, a smaller, three-toed carnivore.
The tracks are visible in the bed of the Paluxy River, which flows through the park and includes areas like the Blue Hole Lagoon. Visitors can explore the park to view these ancient footprints, especially when water levels are low. It’s an exciting experience for anyone interested in dinosaurs and prehistoric history!
And if you can’t make the drive the Glen Rose, Texas, then be sure to check out the next best thing: Dinosaurs at the Lagoon at Fair Park!
