Epcot Foodie Itinerary: Planning the Perfect Food Crawl

I’m planning my Epcot foodie itinerary for when I visit the park next month.

I spent the morning looking at videos of different food options, checking out what people love and what was just okay. I also tried checking out healthy options to ensure that I’m getting nutritious meals for lunch and dinner.

When I visited Epcot last year, I ended up having a not so great day at the park. It was my birthday wish eat and drink around the world, but COVID got me. The first two days at Disney were fine, but I was started to show symptoms and was feeling pretty miserable. Prayers I don’t get sick this time!

A lot of the foods I kept seeing were sweet and not really something that Zack and I eat regularly. I have a couple sweets on my list, but they are not a priority. They’re there to help me plan what to find at each pavilion!

Epcot Foodie Itinerary

Remember to pace yourself throughout the day, stay hydrated, and consider sharing dishes if you want to sample more options. This is the itinerary I’m creating for the my next visit to Epcot. I want to explore a variety of flavors and cuisines while experiencing the diverse culinary offerings at Epcot. I hope you find this useful for your next trip and enjoy your foodie journey!

Tips for planning the Perfect Epcot Food Crawl

Planning the perfect Epcot Food Crawl can be an exciting and delicious adventure. Here are some tips to help you make the most out of your experience:

Research Epcot’s Dining Options: Familiarize yourself with the various dining options available at Epcot. Look into the different countries in the World Showcase and the diverse cuisines they offer.

Create a Priority List: Make a list of the food items or dishes you definitely want to try during your food crawl. Prioritize based on your preferences and dietary restrictions.

Map out Your Route: Epcot is quite expansive, so it’s helpful to plan a route to ensure you cover all the countries and food stops you want to visit. Consider starting from one end of the World Showcase and moving systematically through each country.

Share and Sample: To maximize the number of dishes you can try, consider sharing meals or snacks with your companions. This way, you can sample a wider variety of flavors without getting too full too quickly.

Pace Yourself: With so many delicious options, it can be tempting to overindulge. Pace yourself to avoid feeling overwhelmed or too stuffed. Enjoy each dish and take breaks between stops to savor the experience.

Time Your Visit: Consider the time of day and crowd levels when planning your food crawl. Early afternoon or evening hours may be less crowded, allowing you to move around more easily and enjoy the ambiance.

Use Mobile Ordering: Take advantage of mobile ordering options available at Epcot. This can save you time by avoiding long lines and allow you to optimize your food crawl itinerary.

Consider Festival Seasons: Epcot hosts various festivals throughout the year, such as the International Food & Wine Festival and the Flower & Garden Festival. Check the festival dates and plan your food crawl during these times to enjoy additional food booths and special offerings.

Stay Hydrated: Don’t forget to hydrate yourself throughout the food crawl. Carry a refillable water bottle or make use of drinking fountains available in the park.

Embrace Spontaneity: While it’s great to have a plan, be open to unexpected discoveries and recommendations from fellow visitors or cast members. Sometimes the best culinary experiences can be found off the beaten path.

Remember, the goal of an Epcot Food Crawl is to have fun, explore new flavors, and create lasting memories. Enjoy the journey and indulge in the diverse culinary offerings Epcot has to offer!

XOXO,
Katie
