Earn cash back each time you shop! Signup for Rakuten via my referral link to get $40 when you make your first purchase through Rakuten.
I’ve been using Rakuten since March 2020. I received a $10 welcome bonus for signing up and only made $0.75 on a purchase at American Eagle. In May, the $10.75 was deposited in my Paypal account. At first I thought it was a scam, but when actual money was deposited, I began to look for other stores to shop with Rakuten.
What is Rakuten?
Rakuten, formerly known as Ebates, is a company that allows you to earn cash back when you shop online or in stores. By downloading a Chrome extension, when you load a shopping website you will get a popup to Activate cash back with Rakuten.
According to their website: “taking the Rakuten name most accurately reflects who we are today: a company that gives you all the Cash Back you’re used to, with even more opportunities to save.” The word “rakuten” means “optimism” in Japanese 🙂
How does Raukten Work?
It’s pretty simple: Rakuten earns a commission for sending customers to the shopping site, and then they share their commission with you. It’s a win-win scenario!
Of course, you cannot use it on all stores, but you can view a list of over 2,500 stores.
You might not be set on buying something today, but sometimes the stores offer up to 8% back through Rakuten for one day only. A win for both the store and the buyer! They get a sale and the buyer gets more cash back.
Is Rakuten legit?
Yes! So far, I’ve earned $278.84 cash back!
I know that’s not a lot, but I had to look into the product to see if it was legit. When I woke up this morning I received an email that I was receiving my November cash back to my Paypal. Yay!
