I am slowly getting back into this and, even though I already started a fresh list of my #20in2020 goals, I wanted to add in a rounded out general goals list. It may be small, but I can’t remember the last time I even made a goal in general. Once I get a little stress in my life, I end up complete shutting down everything else including opportunities that I end up regretting because FOMO is real y’all.
- #20in2020 – I’ve been putting off writing for about 6 months. I can’t seem to find the time or head space to sit down and figure out how to do it. The first goal for myself is to get started with twenty topics to write on.
- Read 12 Books – 12 books may not seem like a lot to you if you’re an avid reader, but I skipped this challenge in both 2018 and 2019 (what was I thinking?). You can connect with me on Goodreads if you’d like to follow along or make your own reading goal!
- Consistency at the Gym – I started 2018 off with a goal of going to the gym four times a week. I made it all the way to Memorial Weekend when I was headed on vacation. The entire rest of the year derailed and I only picked up the consistency again around October. On January 20 I started an 8-week Transformation Challenge at my gym and I am currently rounding out week two. My intentions are to push hard to make changes for these 8 weeks, then keeping a consistent schedule for the rest of the year.
- Be More Outgoing – I have been generally outgoing over the past couple of years, but I’d really like to extend more olive branches. I’ve been pushing myself more and more with various photography meetups, but I need to be consistent in doing that and building bridges with new contacts whenever possible.
What are your goals for 2020?
